WRONGS

Have you ever reacted negatively to someone that wronged you?

Have there been times that you have felt that you have been mistreated by someone?

How did you react?

Did you react with retaliation? We seem to have a natural reflex to protect ourselves and our loved ones. Remember two wrongs do not make a right. Of course we can justify it with “well they did this to me” or “they have done something to my loved ones”. To Act in Retaliation is not an act of Love and it does not offer Forgiveness. A very dear friend of mine always tells me “take the high road”. The more I study and put into action scripture the easier it is to Love those who persecute me. I would be lying if I said it does not hurt when I feel wronged or mistreated, but I do not have to react negatively or let it build into resentment.

Matt 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you

Have you reacted negatively in the past year?
