Western Wall also known as the “wailing wall” is all that remains of Herod’s Temple. The wall is about 150 feet long and 60 feet high. One stone is 16 ½’ long and 13’ wide. The Israelis captured this section when they conquered the Old City during the Six-Day War of 1967.
