Does shame control you?
Shame is an emotion that Satan uses to separate us from God. When we feel shame it is usually a result of acting in our sin. When we fall into sin, shame becomes present consuming our mind, from it comes isolation. We can resist shame by obeying Gods commands; it is through obedience that we experience freedom.
“Whoever disregards discipline comes to poverty and Shame, but whoever heeds correction is honored†(Proverbs 13:18 New International Version).
