Research everything before you decide what is true and what is not!
Since I have started school again I have realized the importance of doing research to more fully understand what I am being told. I have experienced getting upset at someone because of a piece of the truth they have shared. Today I do my best to gather all the information before I react or made a decision on where I stand.
One of the great examples is John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.†Throughout my life I heard this in regards to the truth setting me free, so my understanding was that all I had to do was tell the truth. When I was shown all the information from the verse before and after and then read the whole book of John and studied the bible as a whole that one verse took on a whole different meaning.
