Sea of Galilee – The ancient rabbis used to say, “Jehovah hath created seven seas, but the Sea of Galilee is His delight.” This Sea played an important role in the ministry of the Lord. The Sea is 13 miles long and about 7 ½ miles wide at it s northern end. It lies almost 700 feet below sea level and its greatest depth is 200 feet.
