Have you ever sat back and watched when you knew that you should be participating?
Many times in my life I sat in this passive state, I avoided acting because of fear. A simple one that I struggle with is remembering people’s names, I have found myself in many situations where I just did not go up to someone because I was not 100% sure of their name.
Another one is when I am around strangers I find myself being very passive because fear of rejection. I can remember in High School where I was very shy (fear of rejection or not feeling I was good enough) so I did not engage in conversation with a person I did not know. Later I would hear people saying I was “stuck upâ€, this was not the case it was actually my fear of being accepted.
One of the biggies is when God calls me to do something and I do not step up because of fear or un-comfort ability.
Have you ever felt this way? If so what could you do to step out of your comfort zone and do something different?
Sometimes when God calls us we may think “I am not good at thatâ€, well God called several of the characters in the bible to do things that they were not good at.
“He equips the unequippedâ€
