Were you ever hurt in the past?
It is interesting that we tend to hang on to moments that hurt us in the past and carry them forward. I can think of several things that I have tried to avoid, not discuss and keep locked away because when they were brought up I became angry and hurt. Later I realized that I had not totally accepted and or forgiven that person, place or thing in my life. Now that I have experienced total peace when certain things are brought up that used to make me cringe.
I know that I have accepted and forgiven it fully.
I wish I would have learned this earlier in my life; it was simply “PRIDE”. Is there a person, place or thing that makes you cringe when brought up?
