Does God give us more than we can handle?
The saying “God doesn’t give us more than we can handle.†is something that has been said to me many times and I have used it in the past. I have now learned that this is actually not referenced in the bible anywhere. If God was to not give us any more than we could handle that would mean that we would not have to trust him or lean on him. He wants us to be in relationship with him and yes we can do all thing through Christ who gives us strength, but we have to lean on him.
We are not designed to do it alone.
