What is your definition of Love?
Love is the Fruit of the spirit and according to scripture it is “GOD†see 1 John 4:16. Here are a few definitions:
• Strong affection for another, the fatherly concern of God for humankind
• A person’s adoration of God
• To hold dear; cherish So if you look at true unconditional Love, this would be the love that God has for us.
You can look at the word Grace where we are not deserving of his love but he loves us anyway. Through Jesus’s life he models how to Love and he even says love your enemy! Now that a tough pill to swallow but you have to understand that we do not do this on our own “it’s through Christ that we will be able to accomplish thisâ€.
Read verses 1 Corinthians 13 4-8 then ask yourself this question: Where in your life is your love conditional? Now write down 2 things you can do to love more then you did yesterday
