Are you holding onto something?

There are so many things that we hold on to that are not serving us; it could be an idea, material possession, resentment or a relationship. I have held onto so many things that were not serving me which took me into bitterness, unhappiness, frustration and depression. The tighter I held onto whatever it was the faster it slipped right out of my hand.

Wayne Dyer’s quote always sticks with me when I am talking about letting go “Be attached to nothing and open to everything”.

Really the fact is that where we have to first let go is in our minds, it’s usually the idea that something has to be a certain way. Once we change our thinking then letting go can follow.
