When decisions are being made it benefits us to listen to God and to do what his will is. Often times it can be difficult for us to know what God is asking of us that is why it is important to listen. To listen, stop and sit still without distractions. Life can get so hectic that our minds are so focused on what needs to get done that we don’t quiet ourselves to listen before we act.
“He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.†(Psalm 46:10 New International Version).
