What level is your forgiveness?
I find it fascinating how Christ was able to forgive those who condemned beat, pierced, whipped, etc. Now I know this is the Messiah we are talking about but to get my fleshly mind around this concept is mind boggling and seems impossible.
As a Christian I have been given the power to love at this level, this is the love that I do not learn in the world or culture that I live in today. As I have lived through difficulties and challenges of Satan using people in an attempt to hurt, discourage, kill, etc. me I can look back and say that it passed and I am still living and have been provided with the basic necessities.
Luke 23:33-34 when they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals-one on his right, the other on his left. 34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.†And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
What does this verse mean to you?
