Are you good at clearing the hurdles in your life?
When we set goals it’s important to identify the hurdles so you can push through them. Having an action plan and the clarity of how you will react when you approach a hurdle will support you in obtaining your goal. Many times we can identify the obvious hurdles but what do we do when an unexpected hurdle comes our way? This is where it is extremely important to have clarity on your goal and to remain extremely focused. If for some reason you are knocked down by a hurdle jump back up and keep going.
Paul describes “the heavenly prize†as being our goal in this verse:
“I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us” (Philippians 3:14 New Living Translation). By: E5
