I was born into a family where my Father and three grandfathers were land developers. I was named after them giving me the name of Ernest A. Becker V. I followed in their footsteps and became a developer once I graduated high school.
I spent my summers working in the field as a young boy. Some of the activities were sweeping houses, stacking wood, mowing lawns, and painting. I cleaned parking lots and worked in the maintenance department. When I was in High School I helped the framers construct houses, shopping Centers and apartments. Upon graduating high school I became a superintendent of an apartment complex and started contractor’s school.
Upon completion of contractor’s school, I took the test and passed. Having my contractor’s license gave me the opportunity to build projects on my own. I continued to work in the family business as well. I am so thankful that my father taught me to be proficient in all aspects of the business. When I learned how to set up and maintain the bookkeeping on my business it broadened my understanding and success. As I matured I started buying and selling real-estate, this allowed me to purchase a property, design what I wanted to put on it, construct the project and then act as the property manager.
I became involved with Charities by serving as a board member and actively engaging in their fund raisers. The most rewarding project I ever completed was the Ronald McDonald House in Las Vegas. I was the contractor for this project and sat on the board after the completion, later I went on to become the Board President. This experience was very moving for me and I loved helping others.
I have become a person with great compassion, drive and encouragement. Through my experience by actively being involved with charities, I learned that I am passionate about supporting others through challenging times. I found faith in God and my life was changed forever . I went on to obtain my Christian Life Coaching Certification and opened E5 Coaching. I am currently enrolled in school to ultimately acquire a degree in Christian Ministry Leadership.
