How are you with self-control?
I have coached people throughout the years and the number one thing that holds them back from getting what they say they want is SELF CONTROL!
If we had 100% Self ControI we would accomplish the goals that we set. Let’s look at the goal of getting into shape, I exercise 5 times a week and eat fairly healthy, but I love food so I will eat things that do not support getting into shape, therefore I do not reach my goal 100%. Another area for me is If I let my mind wander aimlessly on my selfish desires I find myself judging and comparing. Being aware and using self- control keeps me focused. When I have exhibited self-control I find that I can achieve the goals I set.
