Have you been on the street of gold?
My friend Paul used to always say you want to be on the street of gold. This is the road that is less traveled but takes enormous amounts of self-discipline in many areas of life. Most people are not willing to do what it takes to get to this road and are usually jealous of those that are there.
You see, it takes great strength to get there, the strength that no human being can ever experience without Christ. It requires you to be different then the world. It takes great courage to go against the grain and emulate Christ.
Philippians 4:13 – I can do all this through him who gives me strength
