What does rise mean to you?

As Christians we are called to rise up from our old nature into our new nature. Our faith allows us to experience freedom and to rise up from those crippling sins that have kept us in bondage. We are all considered leaders and lead in one capacity or another, when in leadership we rise up to new level of responsibility.

How will you rise up today?

Have you ever experienced the unexpected?

As we go through life, the unexpected happens, during these times we can have a difficult time adjusting. Expectations are the things that can crush us but Acceptance is the thing that will support us in moving forward an adapting. Acceptance is a powerful thing and is effective in creating peace in the midst of the unexpected.

How will you shift into acceptance when the unexpected happens to you?

Are you one to go the extra mile?

Many people go the extra mile when they are doing something; this may be just giving things a little more attention than is expected. We can impact someone in a positive way by going the extra mile, this can be as simple as a kind act that you would not normally do. We can get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life and forget about doing a little extra in everything we do. You can increase the success in your life by just doing a little more in one area; this would resemble going the extra mile.

What would it look like for you to go the extra mile?

How well do you follow through with what you say you’re going to do?

The true test is in your results, do they match up to what you say you want? Without follow through we cannot achieve the results we say we want. Over the past 15 years of coaching, I have experienced that the biggest challenge for people is following through with what they say they want; talk is cheap, results are found in the action. After setting a goal follow it up with an action plan that will set you up for success and then enroll a few people to hold you “able” (accountable).

“And I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ” (Philemon 1:6, NLT).

What are you not following through with and how will you take action to follow through?

What is your attitude?

You may have heard the statement “attitude is everything”; there is a lot of truth to this statement. We can see a reflection of our attitudes in everything we do especially the results. Attitudes are infectious! As Christians we are to do everything with a Joyful attitude; in everything we do, do it for the Lord.

“You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.” (Philippians 2:5, NLT)

How will you adjust your attitude to align with Christ’s?
